I Run For Miles

I run for miles
I never look back
I know where I've been
I won't go there again

I run for miles
Until I reach the shore
And I find your door
You know where I've been
You still let me in
'Cause I've run for miles

Yes I run for miles
And like the birth of a song
The words won't fit and the rhymes are all wrong
But we play until dawn
And the edges are smoothed and the cracks are all gone
And I run for miles

I run for miles
and like the fiercest of storms
Is calm the next morn
And this weather so strong
Now acts like nothing were wrong
And I run for miles

I run for miles
And after all of this pain
Its good to know the dream still remains
And as it starts to come true
Its as good as I knew in my dreams
And I run for miles

Liner notes
This track was recorded on Leon's home 8-track recorder but there was no overdubbing.  Performing on the track are Spencer Mallinson who is playing the melodic bass lines and Kevin Stewart programmed the drums and is on the acoustic guitar and vocals.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.  There's also a negative side."                        --Hunter S. Thompson
