If you ever think I'd leave you, you must be crazy
and if you ever think I'd lose you, you've lost your mind
If you ever think I'm cheatin' you must be losing
And if you ever see me with another, you must be blind
If you ever thought I didn't love you, you must not be thinking
And if you've ever thought I've hated you, you must be unkind
If you ever think I'd run away, you must be hiding
I know love is seeking but it aint blind

I've never seen a bear freeze in the winter time
And I've never seen a daffodil miss the spring
And you haven't sensed by now how much I care for you
Then God save us all, God save the word, God save us all from what hell may bring

If you ever think I'm frigid you must be freezing
If you ever think I'm distant you're to far away
If you ever think I'm not lonely when I'm without you
Then you've got to be without your senses anyway

I've never seen a bear freeze in the winter time
And I've never seen a daffodil miss the spring
And you haven't sensed by now how much I care for you
Then God save us all, God save the word, God save us all from what hell may bring
Liner notes

Performing on this track are Gary Tussing on Cellos, Bill Pound is on Electric Guitar,  Sean Stewart is on Drums and Kevin Stewart is on the acoustic guitar, bass pedals and vocals.

This was recorded for a live-in-studio "John Eastman Show" program in Tampa, Florida.  It was probably in 1977 or 1978 but I don't really remember and it was so early in the morning.  This was the 'real' Stewart Tussing.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.  There's also a negative side."                        --Hunter S. Thompson
